Cypress Chapter of 10-10 International

Cypress Chapter & Ten-Ten

The Cypress Chapter is an affiliated chapter of Ten Ten International and not a part of the Ten-Ten corporate structure. What this means is that the Cypress Chapter does not do any membership record keeping or dues collection for Ten-Ten International. Many have asked how to join 10-10 or how to renew their dues so we've put this page on the site to make it as convenient as possible. Please note that paid up dues are required to join the Cypress Chapter , to remain a member of the Cypress Chapter , and to participate in any Cypress Chapter awards or special events.

Joining 10-10

Unlike some clubs, 10-10 invite newcomers as evidenced by the many hams on 10 meters that to help someone get their "first 10". 10-10 is a social net, meaning that folks are always welcoming and inviting new hams into 10-10 and their local chapters as well. To acquire your own 10-10 number you must:

  • Hold a valid amateur radio license.
  • Work 10 contacts on 10 meters (in your authorized band section your license class permits) who hold 10-10 numbers.
  • Record their call sign, 10-10 number, name, QTH, date of contact.

Submit the membership form and fees to Ten-Ten International. Note: you don't send any Ten-Ten International membership information or fees to the Cypress Chapter .

The 10-10 new membership (or membership renewal) form is available from this link on the 10-10 web site: Membership New / Renewal. Should you have an interest in becoming a Life Member of Ten-Ten International then you'll need the Life Membership Application, also available from their web site.
