The Cypress Chapter Certificate

The Cypress Chapter certificate is quite striking and surely to be one that you will be proud to have on the wall of your ham shack. The certificate is available either by working an IQ (Instant Qualifier) or by working the required number of current Cypress Chapter members. Upon confirmation of your application you will receive the Cypress Chapter certificate via email as PDF or JPG attachment. This PDF document can then be printed or placed on your web site. Now days hams are less likely to place their certificates on the shack wall but will either include them in a binder or scan them and keep them on their computer for future use. Should you wish a high resolution file that you can use at your local photo print service (like Wal-Mart®) then you will want to select JPG during your application (you can select to have both file formats if you wish).

The station you work for the Basic Certificate must be completed following the Ten-Ten International's definition of an exchange. Which is:

A legal 10-10 contact must be a two-way contact exclusively on ten meters. A legal contact consists of the call, 10-10 number, name, date, and QTH (state or country). At no time is it acceptable for a 10-10 number to be relayed via a third station. These requirements for a legal 10-10 contact have been affirmed by the Board of Directors.
