Well, if you think the K4RRF DX Award is a great challenge then you'll really enjoy this one! This is the Cypress Net YL Award and you get it by working the YL's of the Cypress Net . As of the date of this page there are 11 YL members of the Cypress Net . To get this award you must work 5 of the 11 YL's currently on the membership roll. For working of the 11 YL's you will receive the certificate in PDF format and an upgrade to your on-air points of 50 points. This award is not just for the ladies to work but to encourage everyone to work them on the air.

The YL award start date is 1 July 2009, contacts made before that are not valid for this award.

Even though there are 11 YL members you will find them spread throughout the U.S. and on into Germany.

Award Rules: You must work 5 of the 11 YL's, each and every contact must be on 10 meters. You may use any mode you wish to use, SSB, CW, Digital, FM, AM. Repeater contacts are valid for this ward but remote control stations or Internet based technologies are not permitted. You must be working the YL station direct*.

All Cypress Net members are eligible for this award. Last but not least, you must use the form below when applying for this award, otherwise your application will be denied. This award adds 50 points to your on-air point total.
